This nylonstring guitar has been designed with the electric guitar player in mind. Contrary to the traditional 'classical' design, the Tauriano features a neck joint at the 14th fret and a slightly curved fretboard. With a neckwidth at the nut in between of a classical and steelstring design, this results in a very comfortable playability.
Since the Tauriano is designed to be used with amplification by means of an acoustic (piezo transducer) pickup built into the bridge, the sensitivity of the soundboard and bracing have been slightly accommodated in order to minimize feedback problems.
A 'classical' guitar version of this model with optimized acoustic sound quality design is also available.
